What is a Birth Certificate?
A Birth Certificate is an official document issued by the Union Council that confirms:

What is a Non Availability of Birth Certificate?
A Non Availability of Birth Certificate (NAB) is issued when:
👉 No birth record exists in the Union Council or relevant authority.
This document confirms that:
- Your birth was never registered
- Or records are missing/unavailable
When Do You Need a Birth Certificate?
You need a Birth Certificate if:
- You are applying for Visa. Immigration
- Your birth was properly registered
- You are applying for CNIC or passport
- You need proof of age or identity
- You are applying for school or jobs
When Do You Need a Non Availability Certificate?
You need a NAB if:
- Your birth was never registered
- Union Council cannot find your record
- NADRA shows no birth data
- You are applying for immigration or visa
- You need to proceed with late birth registration
What Happens If You Don’t Have a Birth Certificate?
If your birth record is missing:
- You first obtain a Non Availability Certificate
- Prepare an affidavit
- Submit supporting documents
- Apply for late birth registration
