3. Official Attestation & Verification (Required for Abroad)

If you need the certificate for immigration, study, or employment purposes abroad:

  1. Obtain the original NADRA computerized birth certificate.
  2. Get it attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Pakistan.
  3. Have it attested by the embassy/consulate of the destination country.

This is considered legal verification and confirms authenticity internationally.

4. Third-Party / Institutional Verification

  • Universities, embassies, or employers may send a formal request to NADRA or the issuing Union Council for verification.
  • NADRA can confirm authenticity only on official request.
